We have THREE kids

This little sweetie is 2 weeks old

Life with Julia has been great.  The boys adore her and love to help out when needed.  

She is sleeping 3-4 hour stretches at night which is FABULOUS.  The harder part has been finding a surfaces she likes to sleep on.  For the most part she likes her crib mattress that we laid on the floor in our room or in bed with me.  

At her 2 day appointment she weighed 6.95 lbs up from when we left the hospital.  She has her 2 week appointment tomorrow where she hopefully is up around her birth weight.  

Jacob's brother and his family were able to visit us for a few hours before completing their move to Hawaii.  We had a great time watching the cousins play together and catching up on life.  Now to start planning our Hawaii vacation!

I am healing well and able to start driving as of today!!  Hooray!  Jacob has been an awesome help, especially getting Jaden and Caleb to school and taking them outside to play when we have nice weather.

Here is Julia's room

 Caleb and Jaden painted the artwork and I love how they turned out.  The crib has a skirt that matches the window curtains but was hard to fit it into the picture

Painting the walls a deep purple color inspired us to try painting the closet doors white.  We like how they turned out so might paint closet doors in the other rooms too.

And here I am at 39 weeks

That belly is large and in charge!  1 big accomplishment this pregnancy verses the other 2 is I can still wear my wedding ring.  Hooray to staying healthier!

Down to 2 days until Julia will be here.  Jaden and Caleb were discussing what her hair might look like the other night so I pulled up their baby pictures to give them an idea.  We had so much fun looking through the pictures and anticipating what she might look like.  

34 weeks

  

We are getting more excited everyday to welcome baby girl into this world!  2 friends recently had their babies which makes me even more excited to see what she looks like and no longer be pregnant.  Unless we change our minds at the last minute her name will be Julia Noelle, Julia was Andrea's Grandmother's name.  Her name was decided on quite a while ago and it is sort of odd to know so soon cause with both boys it took us MUCH longer.  Glad we all were able to agree so fast!

Julia's room is coming along, painted the walls this past weekend which means we will be moving furniture in this week.  Went shopping yesterday for curtain fabric and Grandma J will be making them in the next couple of weeks.  The walls are a dark purple witch accent colors of white, gray/silver, and yellow.  It is fun to decorate using more feminine accents.

I have continued to take ballet classes during this pregnancy.  At this point I am sure it is quite amusing to watch but it makes me exercise and keeps me connected with the studio.  Thinking I will take the summer off but might start again in the fall and looking forward to being able to touch my toes again when stretching forward.

The next 5 weeks are busy with a wedding, baby shower, get away for Jacob and I, Spring Break, and Easter.  So much to look forward to!!

Life

29 weeks

 Jaden started basketball this past Saturday.  It is about a 6 week program that is all about skill building and basic team play.

 Our second big snow storm of the winter season began this morning.  The kids had no school today and will not have school tomorrow either.

 Caleb helped me take Lily and Bailey to the vet this week and got to enjoy the kids area for a bit

Over half way

24 week picture; for some reason I always look awkward in these pictures, this 1 is no different......Oh well.  In the past couple of weeks baby stomach has really popped out!

Since my last post we found out that baby is a GIRL.  Jaden and Caleb really wanted a baby sister and it was exciting to all find out together that their wish had come true.  She is moving frequently and her ultrasound pictures showed no abnormalities.  We are all working together to find just the right name and will share when we come to a consensus.

In 1 week we find out if we are having a boy or a girl!!!!
